ORT Loses Twenty Buses in Fleet Fire

01/10/2017
An early morning fire in the bus canopy of Ozark Regional Transit has depleted the bus fleet and ORT's ability to maintain bus routes in the near future. Twenty buses were destroyed and four, roadworthy buses survived.

Introducing the Commuter Express

On January 2, 2017 Ozark Regional Transit, in conjunction with NWA Emerging Leaders, is introducing its first Park-and-Ride service, the Commuter Express! A 55 seat, coach-style bus will take passengers from the NWA Mall in Fayetteville to the Walmart Home Office area in Bentonville. Reserve your seat online.

ORT is incredibly proud to present the newest addition to our fleet, the MV-1! These are the only MV-1's you'll see on the street in Northwest Arkansas! They are wheelchair accessible and will be running on our Paratransit and Demand Response routes.

Razorback Greenway Bus Stops

One of the best parts about living in Northwest Arkansas is having access to the Razorback Greenway Trail. At Ozark Regional Transit, we want to encourage the community to utilize and explore the trail. ORT currently has 47 bus stops within 500 feet of the the Razorback Greenway. And don't forget, all ORT buses have bike racks for your convenience.
